Created in the 17th century and developed on an immense scale under Louis XIV, it was a garden that consumed the wealth of an entire state. To this day, its maintenance costs millions of euros each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"841\" height=\"1263\" src=\"https:\/\/wiktorklyk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/2026-05-22_211758.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28797\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, a contrasting example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My grandmother lived in an apartment with a small balcony. She grew countless geraniums there, bright red. On warm days, we would sit there together. She called that small space her garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And to us, it was a beautiful garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its cost? A few hundred z\u0142oty. A few pots, soil, plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And yet, there was something in it that cannot be measured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To this day, when I design gardens, I look for that feeling more often than I look at the budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because a garden is not about price or size. It is about the atmosphere it leaves behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, answering the question we are often asked:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a garden can cost from a few hundred z\u0142oty<br>to several fortunes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And both can be equally valuable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let me show you two gardens.
