An old proverb says that the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago.
The second best is today.
There is more truth in this than it seems.
Because a garden project can begin at any stage.
When the plot has just been purchased.
When the architecture is being developed.
Or when the house has stood for years, and the garden is still waiting for its form.

We have started projects before the building existed.
We have also entered established spaces and reorganized them from scratch.
Each of these moments is valid.
There is no single right time.
There is only the moment when you feel ready to begin.
And that is what matters most.
So when should you plant?

Here, the proverb no longer applies.
Nature has its own rhythm.
Trees and plants establish best at specific times — most often in autumn and spring.
And the implementation process should be aligned with that rhythm.
